Year one raids are pointless
So, what is the point of doing VoG or Crota now? ALL of the rewards have been made redundant. If I were new to this game, and had just spent money on the legendary edition, I'd be really pissed when I found out that two of the biggest, most fun components of the game had no usable rewards. This is a rewards based game and I'm sorry, but the reward of just enjoying the raid isn't good enough.
My suggestion would be to introduce 40+ versions of the year one raids, each with new Taken mechanics and year two level raid gear. What do you think?

This is one of bungie's biggest blunders period. This shit needs to be addressed and bungie needs to create a way to keep that content relevant.

1 ReplyNot if you're trying to het Vex and Necro for the year 2 versions in the future. Haven't play the Crota Raid for a while since family issues and leveling up my guardians. But i will continue to play Crota until i get the crux.

3 RepliesIt introduces new players to the raids and although 40 with 280+light is still easy to hit, there are still nice little trinkets to be gained from running the others. Ships/mytho, and some of the crota weapons. Yes they are only useful pre ttk and crucible (armor/weapons) but still fun nonetheless. I personally would like the year one strikes they took from us as the rotation is pretty damn small now.

1 ReplyI had a bunch of new gaming friends buy TTK, and they didn't even bother with the missions. They just leveled to 25 and farmed the cosmodrone for uncommon armor untill they were light 170. Patrol mode got them gear as good as PoE, and better than the rest of vanilla destiny. They paid $60, and are only playing TTK content. Why even sell the previous content at this point?
