Do you think Savathun is influencing our destruction of Oryx because he became too weak after Crota died?
Because Oryx fell from the Dreadnaught, his paradoxical Throne world, was he technically outside and can therefore be resurrected by his sisters when they describe him?
Also, I believe that the Ahamkara were the Darkness' advance scouts to see where the Traveler fled to after it learned that Auryx and his sisters released the Darkness from the Deep. I'd like to see an Ahamkara strike or raid boss.
After reading the Book of Sorrows, don't you feel a little like the Traveler is both our friend and enemy? I can see things from Oryx's point of view, and the view of the Worm. There's no doubt that the Worm is nihilistic and an entropic entity, but Oryx has found a way to justify his crusade that makes sense.

Oryx killed his 2 sisters to feed that worm inside him so I doubt it

I don't know if any death is truly the end for Oryx and his kind. In verse 3:6, Oryx beheads his sisters in the sword world and says that they were true deaths, yet by defining them through War and Trickery they returned. Perhaps Oryx's worm survives. Perhaps the worm itself can be defined as well. And I do think the Ahamkara and connected to the worms. Worms? Wyrms? Dragons? One book mentions white segmented bodies while another mentions that they have great wings when unfurled. The worms speak in the same pattern as the Ahamkara as well, do they not, oh bearer mine? Had we not met the Traveler, would we have met the Ahamkara first? We destroyed all of them that we could find at some point in the not-so distant past. If we had never encountered the Traveler and had our Golden Age, would we have made deals with them as the Krill Princes once did? And was Fundament actually destroyed? Oryx himself mentions curiosity at returning to see what happened, but decides against it. Perhaps the Traveler intended to stop the destruction caused by the moons alignments. The Traveler has terraforming powers, it could have probably prevented that kind of gravitational shockwave.

Every villain is the hero of his own story. Don't give Oryx too much credit just because he found the means to justify his crusades of extermination.

I was talking about this with my friend earlier. Oryx was inside his throne world, he tied his own throne to the dreadnaught so we did kill him. That said, Oryx killed his sisters in the ascendant realm and was still able to ressurect them. I'm not sure how they would define Oryx though tbh. Exploration? Understanding?

What if Savathun (the cunning) is Eris?

Edited by DoomStar088: 9/30/2015 11:00:02 PMI'm still confused about that little ball of light. It can't possibly be from oryx, almost everywhere you see it it helps you, shows you the way.

Wait who are the people your talking about (I know enough about the akamahra though)
-
Savathûn would do that. But, oryx IS dead. We went through the portal in the Court of Oryx, into Oryx's personal universe.

Edited by LoneAssassin54: 9/30/2015 9:02:03 PMOryx wouldn't get weak because of crotas death. And that was his throne "world"
