Like & Sign to Save Offtopic! (Bungie is Requiring All Forum Users to Be Destiny Players)
LIKE/SIGN to Save Offtopic! Bungie recently announced its decision that all forum users must own a guardian profile in order to participate in ANY forums. This is effectively killing any alt users. Alt users form the heart of Offtopic. Bungie's decision is illogical: they require a forum category (Offtopic) by definition excluding destiny related content to be composed entirely of Destiny users. See the Contradiction? Offtopic is a venue for ideas and interactions that do not relate to its common products, such as Destiny. If you appreciate Offtopic's unique culture and flavorful interactions, sign to have Offtopic exempt from this new "no alts" decision. Lets get to 1000 likes! Here is the link outlining the decision:

If you want Offtopic to remain the fun and ever interesting forum that it is, sign and like this thread (I want to keep it trending, liking helps that). If this decision remains in effect, I and many others will longer be coming here as users.

I think this is mainly because of all the bashing on religion, gender, and other personal constructs. But now offtopic is going to be shared between decent people, assholes, and now salt. Signed!!!

1 ReplyDefinitely signed. I really don't like where they're going. It's the Bungie forums, not the Destiny forums. Persaonally, I don't play any Bungie games other than Destiny, but I really hate that we're losing a major part of the community here.

As someone who's been part of the Bungie community since the late halo 2 days, and beginning of Halo 3, this website was a thriving community. Groups, downloadable maps, active forums, interactive company employees, it was the best online social experience. Now, well -blam!-. What the hell happened to the old Bungie?
