Still no word on a fix for those of us who didn't get the VIP quest?

I wonder about those of us who got it and did 90% of it, only to have it disappear when that asshole, Variks, decided to give me the Wolves on Mars quest, because I would so much rather have Wolves missions [/s]

The Quest is all done on the Tower and takes about 5 minutes. You're right in that it shouldn't have stopped it and should be still in your Quest Line ([i]is it? maybe on a different page?[/i]) but that's the first time I've heard of that one ... most people simply were never offered the Veteran's Quest to start with, and that's the issue being inquired about.

I didn't even consider the chance that talking to Variks could screw up some totally unrelated quest. -blam!-ing Bungie strikes again. And trust me, I've checked my quests.. it is long gone, not in abandoned quests, either.

Not yet apparently, don't worry there's a lot of us in this boat and at this stage I'd be happy just to get the items and ditch the quest!
