Black spindle has enough impact to kill hammer of sol on headshot.

Nobody wants to give up an exotic slot for a sniper that still requires skill to kill a flying ape with hammer everywhere.

Why not? People use high impact snipers specifically to kill supers. If black spindle does it better then you have an option you're not considering. Besides you shouldn't need an exotic primary to do well, I certainly don't need one. The hammer can be killed but no one wants to change their ways.
