If they were permitted to develop a story, yeah. A prequel movie might be more effective, or a 2 parter: Pt 1: Hive/other species back stories. Golden age. Collapse - Supports the classic 3 Act structure. Pt 2: Basically the game, but they'd have to be able to develop a real plot, or else it just becomes a super hero movie. This game has tons of good story and lore buried in online cards, and so far none of the good stuff is played by the player character.
