Explain to me how a God who has committed genocide can be considered "Loving"

The fact that people can actually believe that the christian God is all-loving truly blows my mind. How can someone who committed genocide be considered loving? He killed countless people, newborn babies included, and thousands of different plants and animals. Were the animals also sinners? Furthermore, this "loving" God committed all these murders because people weren't using their "free will" in the exact way he had intended. That's right guys, you have to use your free will exactly how God wanted you to use it, otherwise you get killed. Wanna know what the best part of this is? God knew that this would eventually happen. Christians believe that he is omnipotent and omniscient, which means that God knew that people would "sin" and he would commit genocide. So, here's the fun part. You guys get to try to justify genocide to me. Explain to me how a loving, caring father can ruthlessly murder millions of his children. This is gonna be good. Purse, out.

 • I kinda wanna just post this as a comment here to save me the trouble of retorting with it to every Christian who never read the bible. The link leads to a page that contains a composite list of killings done by the Christian God or by its orders as well as an estimate total death toll at the end. You may think your God didn't kill more than a few people. But you'd be wrong.
