I just did the raid. At the pillars I got the ghost shell that I already had, but at 1 light less. THEN we killed the war priest, and didn't get a heavy weapon after the third time I had done that part. After that we killed Golgoroth, got the same boots same light. Deathsingers: Moldering shards. Oryx.
GUESS WHAT I GOT....
Another ghost shell with the same light as the one I have..........
WOW GG BUNGIE RIP LOOT SYSTEM
RIP GOOD LOOT
Edit: So I guess smart loot is only for exotics(>???<), emblems, shaders, and ships. However this quote is where I got it from which I thought meant for all loot: "We've put a smart loot system in the game, so gear you've gotten you're less likely to receive again." However I was wrong. It's for certain things. So well here come lots, and lots of duplicates for items, and another 50 raids to complete to get to max level...
Here's to a possible repeat of "Forever 29" *Chings glass against the wall, and takes a sip of champagne*
Edit 2: Just to clarify I used my 20 moldering shards, and got the ghost. I only got the ghost. I didn't get a gun, I already had two ghosts, and wasted 20 moldering shards. So I didn't get anything but 3 legendary marks in trade for 20 moldering shards for killing oryx.
(You can kinda understand where i'm coming from right?)
Edit 3: Yes the exotic engrams, and exotics you get are pretty much guaranteed duplicates (With some exceptions sometimes for special people). lol

Well as is with games nowadays and a plethora of dlc don't forget the plethora of updates. Maybe in time they'll do some "long awaited" update the Destiny community has been "clamoring" for. I just see it as a number thing. Why overspend on a ton of internal testing when they can just have some interns and hard working data analysts crunch the numbers for them and rub out some update to tide the majority over until they figure they'll pay their pockets by leasing us a dozen new armor pieces or weapons with some new character models and blah blah blah. When Destiny is good its great. With the Taken King ive seen some wrinkles but it's still glorious and has yet to reach the Golden years. I haven't put in as much time as some members of the community I'll admit and id imagine they're better opinionated than I but we'll see how everybody responds just keep in this in mind.
