And there were no other team mates in my vicinity, other wise you would see their name tag on my screen or blimp in my radar. Hit him with 3-4 burst none taking damage at the time of impact, the 5th burst coupled with all the damage from the other burst coming at once was enough to take his shield down and the punch to finish him off. I asked my teammates if anyone shot him after, everyone said they did not. People are seriously over exaggerating the shields on Sunbreaker.
