Moldering Shards Don't seem to work
So this has happened multiple times with my raid team. I have used the twenty moldering shards after killing oryx all for ONE item from the chest. This has happened to more than one of us. Bungie you may want to look into this.

A if you got 1 item then the shards worked. Oryx doesn't need to drop anything for you.

Check the postmaster or you didn't actually have 20. We did a 6 man raid and almost all of us had 20 and we all got like 3 things each

my fireteam kiled orxy last night. only one person didnt have 20 mouldering shards. 5 people got 2-3 rewards. the one guy got 1 reward. i got helmet,chest,scout rifle. Good luck

2 RepliesI haven't done the raid but these moldering shards...how easy are they to get and will you always have 20 by the time you get to oryx?

1 ReplyThis is what 20 Moldering Shards do: It just gives you loot that you cannot normally receive from Oryx, such as an armour piece or a special/heavy weapon. That's it. All I got was a pair of gauntlets.

I got Scout, Hand Cannon, and rocket using 20 shards.

I got Leg Armor and 2 shards in exchange for 20, pretty disappointed, but hey, maybe next time

Its a chance for better rewards.... Just yesterday I got a scout, pulse, and arms. While my teammate got 4 drops.
