You know, I love bungie I really do. They've created an amazing game that has changed the definition of MMO in itself and has allowed me to have experiences I will likely never forget. But it's undeniable that they have screwed us over with the second year, mainly with the frontier ghost shell.
Some back story: me and my friends couldn't hold our excitement when we saw the teaser for destiny come out. Nor could we when we had a week to play the beta. But the thing I was most excited about was learning of the Ghost Edition. A beautiful limited edition version of the game which came with your own ghost and matching in game shell. I remember spending several days searching for a place to be able and pre order one and finally finding a best buy, about 30 minutes away that did. I was the only one of my friends able to get my hands on it. The coolest part?
The in game ghost shell.
It was amazing, the only one in the game limited to a certain few. And what does Bungie decide to do?
Make it -blam!-ing worthless.
They start off year two by allowing other players to get other ghost shells which didn't phase me. But the fact that they slapped a massive 3 defense on it and made it literally unuseable???!!!
Come on! Glad this is what I get rewarded with for my promised Special limited edition one of a kind in game ghost shell!
