Without the super the class is completely useless, it brings absolutely nothing else to the table.

Eh I can debate that with defender, my friend playing defender is a life saver

That's because defender is a good class all around. Every perk except maybe 2 in the sunbreaker subclass affect the super... Every other class has something to offer gameplay wise with out having thier super ready, Sunbreakers do not.
