As many of us know there are missing exotic armor pieces in The Taken King. I have been searching everyday since launch to see if any new info has turned up on them. From the little information that's out there it seems that no one has found any of the items. If anyone has please post a link to correct my assumption. To the best of my knowledge there are 7 missing exotic armor pieces from the current loot that players currently have. The one I have been hunting for is Astrocyte Verse the warlock helmet. As someone who mains a Voidwalker this seems like a great armor peice for upcoming end game pvp aka Trials and LagBanner. These exotics are in the database and some have even been shown during trailers for the Taken King, including Astrocyte Verse. The other pieces are Warlock arms and boots. Hunter spider chest and boots. Lastly Titan chest and super mobility boots. These all seem geared towards pvp. Taken King boasted having tons of new exotics. Right now the kiosks show only missing obtainable drops. My question is what happened to them and if they are obtainable how would one go about getting them? Here are my conclusions. 1. They are not in game due to balancing or youtubers calling for a premature nerf. That is Bungie is still working on them and they will be released at some point In the future. 2. They are in the database and were in the game but have been moved to a later expansion ala Fate of all Fools. 3. Endgame pvp reward. This could be from Iron Banner, a possible drop from the weekly Crucible bounties and getting a "nightfall tier reward." This is unlikely due to all the exotic helmet engrams opened via Xur and 3oC. Or from Trials 9-0 chest. 4. Hardmode raid. 5. Completing a certain quest line no one has done yet. Has everyone done all of their quests? And if so, perhaps it's timed or linked with a ranking of vanguard and/or crucible? This is a good option as in the database they are level 30 instead of 40 just like the Boolean Gemini. 6. Other via Black Spindle. Let's have a civilized convo here and put our collective minds to use and get to the bottom of this. Bungie spoiled Astrocyte Verse in game and many of us spent plenty of strange coins trying to get it only to realize it wasn't even in the kiosks. If it's obtainable it's most likely through doing a specific task that may or may not also need you to have rng on your side. Besides we were told tons of new exotics and right now over half of the current exotics for each class and weapons are year 1 retooled exotics. So what do you all think?
