That's still 1/5 or 20%.
That means the Sunbreaker killed you 4/5 times or 80% a huge amount.
That's terrible.
It should depend on ability just a little.
a good player should be able to take out a Sunbreaker if they are caught off guard.
It takes a whopping 6 normal melees to kill a Sunbreaker.
That's an average of 3 more than the other supers.
It should really be a 45% or more win chance. I shouldn't have to be put at a severe disadvantage because I'm not a Titan.
Any other classes super is easily counter able.
I think the Sunbreaker needs a small nerf

Well I've killed like 2 SB's with normal gunfire and around 2-3 with my super. I've seen about 15 in my time playing. When you see or hear one, run, its saved me quite a bit.
-
That's the problem. If the best way to escape from a super is just to run away. That super is OP. I've killed a few with my super or ran away. It's just that I feel so helpless against a Sunbreaker
-
No, supers shouldn't be able to be taken directly head on. Most of them can't be unless you have proper distance from them anyway. But like I've said they can be killed as I've done it without a super.
-
Whatever I said, I meant I killed them 4 out of 5 times. Not the other way around
-
Oh! That's much more impressive. Killing Titans 1/5 times is way harder. But in the video you did 145 damage with a golden gun shot. Your teammate was the reason you got that kill. Usually it would take 2 shots to kill the Titan. So there was a lot of luck involved, but you have to admit 7/10 times if this is a 1v1 between the Titan and you. You will lose. The Titan will one hit you due to a lack of armor and the Titan will survive due to the over abundance of armor. It highly depends that you play with a competent teammate. Something that's hard to find.
-
There was barely any damage done to him. However I have never not one shotted the sunbreaker. They can survive once damage fall off starts, but close range I believe it's still a one shot. My point being, if you know how to bait and dodge, even if it's a two shot, I out perform sunbreaker the vast majority of the time.
-
It's impossible to get a one shot I'm sorry. I've tested this in a few rumble matches. It's impossible even at point blank. The max possible is 180 out of the 200 it takes to take a Sunbreaker down. If you did take them out in 1 shot then there was a team mate helping you. All it takes is 1 shot of the Suros regime and a golden gun to take that Titan mid-Sunbreaker.
-
The point is that Sunbreaker is not invulnerable as people are crying over. If a Hunter can take him down in two GG shots, it's no different than wrecking a Defender shield, which takes the same number of hits. A Titan is SUPPOSED TO BE TANKY.
-
Edited by Weeza: 9/30/2015 12:40:48 PMJust stop this! a tank deals less dmg than a dps class is that what you want? And a titan can never hold aggro of a boss unless he deals more dmg which doesnt make sense if he is supposed to be a "TANK" and gets aggro for dealing more dmg than the others ...
-
Again, I'm watching people bring down Sunbreaker Titans with relative ease. You kids are just crying because again, you can't stand to die in a damned game.
-
Most people dont cry about the super itself its just the dmg reduction is a bit too much my titan has not even all perks and i dont play with the new gauntlets because of it looks and i can wreck entire teams specially in elimination and 3vs3 it is too stronk :)

No one gives a damn about the Trials of Osiris. That mode is full of hackers and cheats anyway; it's just as corrupt as every other "competitive" game, and the players are just as toxic as they were in CoD. That mode is utterly irrelevant due to the toxicity of the community, and nerfing for the sake of a broken game mode has zero validity.
-
Sorry. But the Sunbreaker Titan can kill Gunsingers in 1 hit. Please explain to me how I'm supposed to win a fight where I have a shot that doesn't have an AoE and need to hit the opponent twice. And my opponent needs to throw 1 hammer and has an AoE 1 hit kill. Also can take 2 of my shots. So because of the RoF for both I would trade a hammer for a golden gun shot and die. The Titan would survive. This also happens to every other class. Sure the problem isn't as bad as people are making it, but statistically the Sunbreaker Titan is superior to all other classes by far. And that needs to change
-
A Hunter can get off two Golden Gun shots faster than a Titan can throw a single Hammer. If he misses his Hammer (which is easy to do considering the travel time) he's -blam!-ed. The only thing that needs to change is the whining in these forums, because it's destroying the game. Haven't you imbeciles figured out by now that you've destroyed over half of this game? Many of the weapons only work now within prime shotgun range, and the nerf to shotguns in PvP did jack and shit to them, while destroying them in PvE. Now you want to start wrecking subclasses next. Get over yourselves; IT'S AN FPS, AND YOU'RE GOING TO DIE SOMETIMES.
-
Imbecile? I'm having a logical debate. I understand that I will get killed. You should know that too has we both have K/Ds below 2.0 I don't understand why you feel the need to insult me for expressing my opinion. I'm sorry if you don't like it, but I've been here since the Beta. I play destiny as one of my main games. I should be able to give my opinion. Negative or positive. I believe the Sunbreaker is OP compared to all the other subclasses stat wise. The armor and pure damage output is incredibly higher than other subclasses. A Radiant skin, Flame Shield, Ram-wearing Warlock can survive about 500 normal damage with the armor buffs that they stack. The highest armor outside of Sunbreaker that is exclusive to a subclass. Without any armor buffs a Titan can survive 600 damage with Sunbreaker active. 600!! With all the buffs possible the amount grows to around 700! That's twice bladedancer's armor increase of 350! Twice! Now tell me why that isn't OP. The statistics don't lie.
-
The stats are arbitrary when I'm sitting here watching clips of people bringing down Sunbreakers solo. Even if there were an imbalance, the fact is proven that nerfs are only dragging the game down. What needs to actually be done, is to balance up: Bring other classes and weapons to match what is currently used, so we have more options, not fewer.
-
A defender shield isn't throwing OHK hammers though
-
A Titan in his bubble is no different in terms of tanking. Just camp it out in the Thunderdome with a shotgun and you have basically the same concept.
-
Not really because the titan in the thunder dome can't come out and one shot you from 50 yards away and then proceed to pick up his bubble and run around with it
-
I know that. Either way, he's still a tank. The tracking on the Hammers isn't as bad as people are making it sound.
