How the -blam!- are people getting 297+ blues?
Seriously? I can't get anything above 295 to spawn. The highest purple I have gotten is 298
Edit: This includes CoO
Edit 2: I am at 291 light I usually get equips anywhere between 265 and 292 light equips. This included CoO (even in tier 3), decoding engrams, and Heroic Strikes. I do however appreciate that people are at least trying to help me out with this.
Edit 3: Went and ground CoO since I had a ton of runes. Got up to 294! Really do appreciate the advice people.

I actually got a pair of 300 cosair feet on my hunter from a blue engram , I was a bit in awe.

1 ReplyMy highest light I can reach so far is 296. I have tried all things when decoding engrams. All highest gear and decode, decode at like 2-4 light lower then my highest. Which that has seem to get me more blues over my highest light of 296, when decoding at 293ish, then decoding at 296.

Its just random i can hit 296 and rarely get anything over 285 now.

2 RepliesSure you are informed by now but its all about YOUR light. When you get any blue engrams, and decide to turn it in, make sure you have ALL your best gear on. It does not matter if you "like" the gear, does not matter if its white, green, blue or exotic...put on anything that maxes your light out. Turn in engram, ONE. AT. A. TIME. this makes it a process but by doing so you can check the current engrams you just decrypted...see if its higher light, if its ONE point higher, put that ish on and dycrypt Tue next. I got to 298 light before even stepping foot in the raid.

I had a 299 blue ghost shell. Infused to my crucible one. Now its 299.

Its supper rare I got a 295 while my light was 287 I jumped from my seat

Idk really but I heard the higher light you are the better light your engrams turn into. So far my best is a 300 blue helmet. Which I used to upgrade a low light legendary.

Highest ive seen was a forum member who showed me his 300 blue gauntlets, so i presume 300 is the highest for blues

I got 295+ blues far more often before I hit 290 than I did after.

Court of oryx t3 usually gives me 295+

Save a bunch of engrams, get high light level, decode engrams, get high ranking engrams, flaunt your stuff to people, people post hate threads... Easy as that

I've had a few 299's as well as evertying in between. Court of Oryx is your best best for them

1 ReplyYou have to be a higher light level. It's based on your current level so you won't break anything over 295 if you're at 290
