How the -blam!- are people getting 297+ blues?
Seriously? I can't get anything above 295 to spawn. The highest purple I have gotten is 298
Edit: This includes CoO
Edit 2: I am at 291 light I usually get equips anywhere between 265 and 292 light equips. This included CoO (even in tier 3), decoding engrams, and Heroic Strikes. I do however appreciate that people are at least trying to help me out with this.
Edit 3: Went and ground CoO since I had a ton of runes. Got up to 294! Really do appreciate the advice people.

My hunter has a blue 300 ghost she'll that dropped during Court of Oryx, dropped as the ghost, not an engram.

I've seen several people with 300 light blues on. Never above 300 though. Think it's the highest a blue can drop

I got a 298 rare helmet today. Most of the time I get 270s, but you just have to keep encrypting, and hope you get lucky.

297+ blues appear less often than blue engrams turning legendary(for me at least), but it happens.

I got a 299 blue auto rifle earlier from the heroic strike playlist.

I honestly got the blue machine gun on my hunter from a blue engram last week. Was shockend really. Got a 300 hc from nightfall, a legendary. Havent done raid yet So nothing from that but its just luck. Even have a 299 cloak Also from engram
