This is what's really going on, for you non-hunters -stay far away, you can't really defend yourself with your super and your armor is garbage, along with your regen, even though the other two have just as good agility as you, plus a higher jump. -don't die, take cover all the time until you can use super because snipers suck now. -super gives either one buffed arrow that's that has either extended tethers or dispersed damage. Or 3 arrows that have basically no tether. Either way, you're lucky to get 3 kills and generate 3 orbs for team. -The melee has less reach than the Titan but doesn't kill. The smoke grenade sucks, you might be able to invis 3 people if they on top of each other, invis yourself or poison/tickle the enemy. -shade step looked awesom until I got headshot, meleed(mid roll), and killed if every other gun in the game besides hand conman. The shotgun wins every time. So the slid is still better, plus easier to use, it doesn't disorient you. So this play still you're talking about is actually both pvp and pve: •Don't/can't get kills •Hide •Don't spawn orbs •Using super is almost worthless and it's the hardest super to use in the entire game. •*1/8th of health left on enemy, close prox* goes to melee, throws smoke grenade by accident, doesn't get the kill and gets meleed to death during animation. •*1/8th of health left on enemy, distance shot* run out of amo, melees and doesn't throw grenade for some reason, shot to death during animation. •be the last one one fire team to make it to destination because high jump and triple just doesn't go further or higher than the other two, despite it being the hunters jump. So you're only options are the other two classes, which were already, previously outmatch by the other classes, by far. If I didn't have my best gear and score on my Hunter on year one and now year two, I'd retire my Hunter, even though I don't want to. No now I'm stuck with starting over or dealing with being the worst class in the game. I'm really good with the other two, they're so easy to use and much stronger/ all around better than the Hunter, but despite all that, I just like the hunters play style better. This is just wrong bungie.
