New titan and warlock supers need to be nerfed!
Hey Bungie,
I was playing crucible the other day and I noticed how strong the new titan and warlock supers are, so I figured I would make this thread to discuss this topic.
Firstly, they both have to much armor while they're super is activated. If you compare the amount of armor to a similar super in the bladedancer, they both have significantly more. I'm having a hard time wrapping my head around why this might be. I mean all three are mobile supers and the sun breaker has many of the same perks as the bladedancer in terms of healing after a kill, but the sun breaker can even get an over shield after a kill. I ran into an instance in a game of elimination where a sun breaker killed my teammate and gained an over shield, I then sniped him with a her benevolence and he still lived. Both the storm caller and the sun breaker can also live through I direct impact rocket. Now compare that to a bladedancer who still gets killed by a shotgun and it really doesn't seem fair, why would you clearly make the other two classes mobile supers better than the others? I always thought the reason why the striker and nova bomb (blanking on the real name) warlock had lots of armor was because they were defenseless while using they're super.
How much more OP the sun breaker is compared to the bladedancer is rediculuis. The sun breaker has a farther kill range, the blast radius on the hammers are crazy, and the hammers practically lock on to you. Yet on top all of that they still get more armor, Bungie is practically killing off the hunter. Some changes need to be made bungie.
P.S. Don't even get me started on the duration of stormtrance!

I completely understand sunbreaker part but why stormcaller? They are not op. Granted, they do have the best grenade out of the three new classes and ridiculous ranged melee like usual but super..? Its not op at all. Sniper headshot kills it. Shotgun melee kills it. Hell, I killed couple of them just using my pulse rifle this morning. Repeat after me. Stormcaller is not op. Stormcaller is perfectly balanced. Sunbreaker is op. Sunbreakers need a nerf.

1 ReplyJust to bring this up, Stormcaller is quite possibly one of the easier supers to kill. The toughness really only comes from armor we equip. The duration isn't really long and only gets longer when you chose to activate that perk

I've killed several stormcaller warlocks with a single rocket and a single sniper headshot so they aren't as OP as you're making them out to be. I don't really mind sunbreakers because I've dealt with vanilla destiny bladedancers before and the only way to defend yourself is to use your super to cancel theirs, focus fire with your teammates, or run. I'm sure they'll get the same time to shine the bladedancers had before being tuned by Bungie.

It is a legitimate game strategy. So is using a Sunbreaker, Nightstalker, Stormcaller, Striker, Bladedancer, Voidwalker, Defender, Gunslinger, Sunsinger, Pulse Rifle, Scout Rifle, Auto Rifle, Hand Cannon, Sniper Rifle, Fusion Rifle, Shotgun, Sword, Machine Gun, Rocket Launcher, Super on a control point/Salvage point, Camping in the back, using your super to shut down another, Blink Shotgunning, Snipe Camping, Respawn Sniping, Using Year 1 weapons, using Year 2 weapons, using Year 2 & 1 weapons, actually playing at a higher skill level, playing at a low skill level, drag shotting, quick scoping, camping revived, 4th Horsemaning Supers, running, Capturing a point, protecting a point, angering your opponent so he trying to kill you rather than get the point, having fun, being salty, raging... The list goes on. Is there anything else I have to state.

Well while warlock super is strong atleast its not a steaming pile of bs like the titan :) tons of armour free full heals and range, oh lets not forget 1 hit punches, tbh im not even bothered by titans most who play them are bad and easily outplayed

1 ReplyNightstalkers render ALL supers useless with 1 well placed tether. I have all 3 classes and out of the 3 the hunter is the cheapest. A ranged melee attack, 3 mobile supers on the offensive spectrum, and invisibility. Not hating but the hunter class is, was and always will be Bungie's most loved child(MC excluded).

I agree, warlocks and Titans need to be massively nerfed. Since their supers are already so offensively gifted, I think instead of damage reduction they should take bonus damage tbh. That would balance them very well. Also hunters should be buffed and given increased armor while firing the bow, something like unstoppable while FoH, I don't even know how many times I've been killed mid super. Additionally blade dancer should be buffed and given a longer range, and golden gun should receive a 50% armor buff, to fit in with the other classes, it's ridiculous how vulnerable you are using it.

Titans don't need a nerf they are just fine. In fact recently hunters stopped crying and learned how to use their new supers and made pvp more fun and balanced again.
