I whole heartedly agree and feel where your coming from, not one of my 42 destiny friends were keen to do it with me as I've not done it, and the one time I did get a group, they started leaving after just a few minutes.
I ejected my disc and snapped it, most satisfaction I've had from destiny so far.

I feel relieved now I've snapped my disc, I can enjoy games that actually have story lines and gameplay that can be progressed through without relying on other people
