[i] Having reached the entrance to the pyramid, the corpses of the bandits strewn about, Daego, Theron, and Etana proceed into the pyramid, a long hallway, lit by torches on the walls.[/i]

-using his commands-" night vision mode. Guys be careful theres bound to be traps in here"

[b] As you say this, one of your footsteps depresses a stone in the floor, sending metal spikes hurtling at you from the end of the hallway.[/b]

-using his acrobatic skills he dodges and slashes at them-

[b] as quick as you are, one spike manages to graze your arm. A flesh wound.[/b]

Daego applies alcohol to the wound and cures it

[b] At the end of the hallway, a set of stairs leads downwards.[/b]

- daego scans the structure with his obsidian eyes for traps

[b] You see nothing as you go down the stairs, but there's a doorway at the bottom with light spilling through it.[/b]

Edited by Will: 9/27/2015 9:38:13 PM[b] As you look through the doorway, you see a large, square room with bare walls, with a single huge emerald on a pedestal in the middle of the room. On the opposite side of the room, past the pedestal, is a doorway.[/b] [spoiler] Just so you know, scanning isn't gonna pick up on anything. That takes the fun out of it.[/spoiler]

-daego approaches the emerald pedestal he examines it. He proceeds to touch it a little-

[b] Nothing happens.[/b]

Daego slashes at it with his plasma sword. He attempts to collect it

[b] As you grab the emerald, the walls come apart in three parts of the room, and out step humanoid figures with knives, wrapped in gauze.[/b]

-daego picks up the emerald laying on the floor-" well then what if you were supposed to guard the visitors of the pyramids? just a thought."- he cautiously opens the door on the other side of the room and gazes inside-

[b] The door won't open, it's seemingly locked shut, with strange symbols glowing blue on it. Where the emerald was, it disintegrated leaving a key in your hand. This key does not go to the door however, because there is no slot. The mummies speak.[/b] "You hold the key traveler. This is forbidden." [b] One lunges at you with a knife.[/b]

-daego sidesteps easily and shoots him in the head and slashes at it. He boosts away attempting to avoid any contact. He speeds around the room shooting and slashing at the remaining mummies-" well you sure as hell weren't guarding me" -daego cautiously approaches the door and attempts again to open it-
