Bungie, For those who have stuck with you since release on Xbox for Halo and have been able to share the passion you have put into games. However, after I paid $100 to beta test a game and jumped through hoops to keep up with my friends since the release of Destiny, this Taken king update had completely screwed your fan base that feels they shouldn't have to pump another $40 into a game to enjoy it. I have since stopped playing due to unavailable funds, because there is nothing I'm able to do anymore. Seeing my Destiny friends surpass me and the new things they have accuired is discouraging. Look at it this way; If you buy a new car and this new car is amazing! Revolutionary! You love this car, and everyone who had this car loves it. There are minor things you have to cover; first oil change, tires maybe, but then the company releases an update.. a devistating update that if you dont have this update, your windows don't work, seats don't move, air conditioning fails to work, and the car can't go above 20 mph. No matter how much you love this car, you're already losing a fanbase. Thank you.

  • lmao no its more like your car model is 2014, but now your friends are getting the new year model (2015), and it has extra features your model doesn't have. So you either save up for the cool new model, or just keep your 2014 model. Your metaphor or whatever the heck I just read was awful, sorry

  • Ha... hahahahahaha!!!!! So since I cannot play destiny anymore, I still have the old model? I thought games were supposed to surpass 1 year, especially with 2 updates. Your ignorance surpasses your "intellect".

  • Do you expect madden 16 to be given to you for free because you already have madden 15?

  • I am surely not asking for a free copy, and this is not "Destiny 2".but you're missing the point entirely, so again, i will inform you of your ignorance. This game, the taken king, is an update to the ORIGINAL game. Ya see that? It's not a new copy. So in turn initiating this updat, they have made the version without DLC non-playable. Thats what I'm complaining about, not a free copy.

  • Dude, you're being insanely ignorant. Destiny: The Taken King, is absolutely the second installment of Destiny. Just because it isn't called Destiny 2, doesn't mean it's a continuation of Destiny. Bungie, said they plan on making Destiny a 10 year plan. The "game" you keep referring to, or "year one" the way everyone else, including Bungie, refer to it, includes Destiny, and the DLC's, The Dark Below, and House of Wolves. That's the game you keep referring to. Destiny: Year one = Destiny, and it's two dlc's. Year two, is Destiny: The Taken King, and probably another two dlc's if Bungie is smart. If I were Bungie, I'd stick to the formula. You can keep raging all you want, but essentially, you're complaining about not getting more content for another game, because you bought and played the original installment. If you want to continue playing Destiny, in year two, fork over the cash, and quit your complaining. If you don't want to pay for it, that's fine. Go play something else. It's that simple. Accept that your Destiny experience is over, take comfort in knowing that you became legend, and move the -blam!- on like an adult.
