Edited by Nyx Zamamai: 9/28/2015 4:41:34 PMDefinitely Skyrim (for the modz) and Garry's Mod (for more modz) EDIT: Also, get Star Citizen when it officially comes out. That game will be amazing

Garry's mod, escapists, half life trilogy, portal 1 and 2, and counter strike global offensive

Depends on your rig's power and capability.

TERRARIA!

Grenman gaming . Cdkeys.com and humble bundle sometimes have awesome prices .
-
Don't spend too much money now, wait until the winter steam sale and you'll easily add 20+ games to your library. But yeah, Crysis series, Skyrim, Civilization 5. Hit up gog.com for old-school games--free space 2 is a must own.
-
specs?(http://www.pcpartpicker.com) determining you system can tell what games you can run.
-
Yeahhh, I JUST did to. My first game is borderlands 2. Very fun the GOTY is only 8$ Pre sequel is 20$
-
Mmmm mustard rice.

Half-Life 2, Crysis series, Witcher series, Mass Effect series, Elder Scrolls/Fallout (with mods), Tera, CS: GO, Arma 3, Pillars of Eternity; also use www.cdkeys.com and www.mmoga.com to buy games. There are a few others but those are the main two I use, and when you can, I suggest trying to get games through GoG over Steam since it is 100% drm free, and Valve needs some competition.

Sure. Elder Scrolls Games (MODS!), Get some emulators. Just google emulators and you will find many sites. The Binding of Isaac Rebirth (One of the most popular rogue likes out there. Also other great Rogues are Nuclear Throne, Crypt of the Necrodancer, Rogue Legacy, and Spelunky. For Multiplayer I would get Counter Strike Global Offensive. Also check out Insurgency and Robot Roller Derby Disco Dodgeball. Some other awesome games for PC are the STALKER Series. Metro Series, Terraria, Kerbal Space Program, Space Engine (Free). I got a lot more I could tell you to get, but I would be here all day. And make sure to sign up at Humble Bundle and Green Man Gaming as well. Also get an Origin account. (they give out free games time to time)

RTS's its the only reason I haven't sold mine.
-
Buy every piece of Steam-exclusive indie shovelware, then play each of them for 10 minutes. GG

Civilization V is pretty much a staple for any PC I can imagine. It's just a solid game. Galactic a Civilizations II is not quite the necessity, but it's an extremely fun title. I haven't played the 3rd one or I'd recommend for or against it, but I remember it getting good reviews. I'd recommend Star Craft II if you're looking into a good competitive RTS; I'd also recommend Sins of a Solar Empire for a much more laid back RTS that takes longer.

Does it taste good?

Spec ops: the line Also regularly check humble bundle If you see a good pack of games you would like then grab it A percentage goes to the publisher, charity and the humble bundle crew (you can set the amount to each) Minimum of 1$ for the games though
-
Tf2 for starters, it's amazing
-
Uh... Elite: Dangerous.
I want it but my specs are shit right now ;-;
Get what you want. If you're a cheap ass, buy it from G2A.com.

The mandatory PC games are the following, be sure you have steam: -Civilisation V - A turn based strategy where you have to take over the world starting at the beginning of recorded human history -The Half-Life 2 trilogy (HL2, Ep1, Ep2) - These Three games (well 1 and two halves) is a genre defining FPS experience on PC. Beware jump scares -Day Z or one of the many Zombie sims - I personally don't enjoy this multiplayer open world zombie game but people consistently insist I get it. Same with Arma. -One of the many free to play MMOs- be it Star Trek online or Warframe else these terrible games can be fun to lose your life in.
