Hello fellow group members, I am organizing a Vault of Glass raid on Tuesday, September 29th at 11:00 am PST (time is open to adjustment if you can't make it at that time, but would like to come). The raid can either start at Atheon or start at the very beginning, depending on the preference of the fireteam.
If you haven't yet done VoG you are welcome to come, provided you are level 27 or above, have a mic, and are willing to communicate with your fireteam members. I'm going to try to make this fairly organized, so that it doesn't take forever and feel more like a grind than a fun experience.
If you have never played Vault of Glass (or even if you have) please read the linked guide. It might seem a little silly to request that, but my first experience in VoG was horrible; only two people knew what they were doing, two other people didn't have mics, and everybody ended up getting either frustrated (the experienced players) or both confused and frustrated (the inexperienced players).
My goal is to avoid making this experience miserable, thus the guide. After failing to beat VoG with my first group, I decided to look up some guides on how to do it, and found this one most helpful. Even experienced raiders might find some interesting info in there.
If you want to join, simply reply to this message with your gamertag, the class, subclass, and level of character you will be raiding with. This is so that we have a good idea of the abilities of our fellow raiders, as well as getting an idea of how to organize the teams when we inevitably need to split up during the raid. I will be playing my level 40 hunter, most likely using blade dancer subclass, although I am willing to switch if we get another blade dancer. Sign up, and I hope to see you on Tuesday!
