They shouldn't, Etheric Light is bad for an RPG, and poisons the game's future.
The only thing that should carry over into Destiny 2 is our Guardian, other that, all TTK gear should be left behind

I think it's more activison then bungie they just look at gameplay time.Quick to patch a cheese or glitch but I can't imagine how many people grinding the thorn bounty and that's why they let it go for so long.Im praying destiny 2 is nothing like this I'm not hating on ttk just not a pve player after POE lol

Yeah, I'm really surprised how different World of Warcraft and Destiny are based on these things considering they are both published by the same people.
