Here's another example of someone who's life has wholly been consumed by sucking the vanguard off everyday. If there was a teachers pet amongst guardians, you are it. I'm sorry that I have a life outside of this game and would like to play for fun and not waste my time with unnecessary crap. But then again what would people like you do if you were to get bored with a game that had no grinding and had to participate in society!?!? Omfg what a shocker.

This game is an RPG, this was how it was meant to be from the start.

Right. You're so right. Doesn't mean I can't be annoyed with all my time that feels wasted.

It's for people to not try and grind through it on one day and feel overwhelmed, but rather take your time and spread out the quests, missions, bounties, raids, strikes and everything else in a paceful manner. YOU are playing this game wrong if you think this DLC is bad. Every single RPG is grindy. Look at Diablo 3. Great game, great story line great quests, great loot, but you still have to grind grind grind to get to the top tier state. Just like Destiny. In my brief synopsis of you ranting, you're a call of duty player that wants everything handed to you without putting in any effort. Sorry bud, this game doesn't have microtransactions so you can buy your way to victory and pay for the most OP guns and armor. If you even put effort and initiative into playing this DLC, you'd find its the BEST DLC with the MOST content with the MOST replayability with the MOST storytelling with the MOST gear and MOST loot. TL;DR: You're playing the game wrong and you need to re-think your "opinion" on the DLC. This DLC is a SOLID 10. Shut up.

Haha no no I fkn LOVE the new expansion overall. I'm just tired of feeling like I'm wasting my time when I play just so that people that put in a couple hundred hours a week can feel validated for their efforts.

Why does everything have to cater to you and what you like? I like the grind. I like variety and difficulty. I don't like handouts and using the same shit for years. Don't like it, move on. They have no obligation to please you.

You mean you like being able to be consumed enough by the game to forget about how much life sucks? Yeah I'm down for that too I guess, but does it have to be the same type of grinding? Also, I never said the game had to be catered to me, nor do I want it to be. But we all like to complain, I just thought I'd throw in my 2cents worth of bitching too. How am I ever supposed to get to working for the good stuff like raids and soloing nightfalls without halting my life and turning a video game into my life? Got an answer for that? You should write an article then because that's the ultimate question my friend.

You should write an article then because that's the ultimate question my friend.
You don't have to be able to do that stuff in the first week, like these latch-key kids do because they have no life or responsibility beyond their short school days. If you read their bragging little posts, the kids doing stuff first and bragging about it are borderline illiterate, they made a sacrifice (and other bad life choices) If you don't have the time to be "competitive" in video gaming, well let me welcome you to the adult world. I don't have a lot of time to put into the game right now, and I'm accepting of that. And, I don't think the game needs to be short on content just because I'm short on time. I know I'll be there soon enough and get all I want from it (eventually), but I don't want to compromise the experience in the process. Learn to make the most of the time that you do have by maximizing your loot and it will happen just as it should.

Well said, Sir. Thanks for the insight and reminder.
