Short Explanation of Why the Taken King is a Failure - BUNGIE READ AND FIX
All of our efforts, grind and luck for a whole year wasted, as our old gear is not upgrade-able. Raid gear, Trials gear, POE gear, even exotics... all trashed.
The new light system is horrible, making the game more grindy and meticulous, eliminating customization whatsoever. The infusion system was added as a band aid afterthought, but punishes you by reducing your light level by 20% and eating up your marks, glimmer and materials.
The new raid is worse than VOG and TDB combined, and twice as long. Rather than requiring skill, its just a huge test of patience.
Trials of Osiris is currently gone, and still no private match support or in game ranking. Rosters are still a mess, not organized by alphabet, and clan roster is still nonexistant.
The Taken King - TaKing Away your Gear, and giving you 5000% more grind and nerfs. RIP Gally, Icebreaker, and new Black Spindle

Bitching, bitching and more bitching. What else is new on the bungie forums. The new light level system is much more consistent. The new raid is much better and bigger in scope than the past two. It takes skill and patience like any other raid. Please dont try to claim it sucks because you cant beat it.

I seriously stopped after the third sentence. Just don't play if you don't like the game that much. Personally I think that 99% of the things changed were an improvement. Also, a raid is supposed to be long. Not like a strike. It is supposed to require teamwork and patience. It's the end game activity and I think the rest of the community would have been upset if it turned out to only take like 2 hours to beat the first time through

Everything you said is pointless, and I'm sure by now nobody misses the ghorn.
-
Ghorn is for scrubs, move on. Myself and my 8 full page mid week night friends list would say otherwise. Everyone is on TTK, unless you're a bad git gud scrub

I work at taco Bell. I Make the food the same every time. We get 'those' customers. Those huge pieces of shit that seem only to live to complain. When i just got done scalding my hands with hot af tortillas and YOU want to bitch and say "this happens every time cold food always skimping blah blah blah." No. I am a zombie when on the line. I Mahe everything the same (if you Make us happy or are a usual who isn't a dick you get extra goodies). If this "problem" that is so totally real keeps happening, stop involving yourself with it. It's so easy, yet it seems so hard for you people. Just, stop.

Raid gear, Trials gear, POE gear, even exotics... all trashed.
Welcome to the MMO system when a new expansion drop, all your old gear becomes obsolete really fast. If the old gear was still useful in the new Raid, there wouldn't be much reason to play or buy the expansion.
The new light system is horrible, making the game more grindy and meticulous, eliminating customization whatsoever. The infusion system was added as a band aid afterthought, but punishes you by reducing your light level by 20% and eating up your marks, glimmer and materials.
The new light system is way better. It is easier to level up and the loot is based on your light level meaning it is less likely to give you something useless if you are still gearing up. The legendary marks become obsolete as soon as one character reaches light lvl 290. If you want to level up another character fast without spending marks, just pass on the best weapons, ghost and a lot of blue engrams.
The new raid is worse than VOG and TDB combined, and twice as long. Rather than requiring skill, its just a huge test of patience.
I don't know how it is worse than a Raid with two huge bullet sponge bosses and a Raid with just one mediocre boss fight. If the new Raid didn't require skill and coordination, people wouldn't be struggling on Golgoroth and Oryx.
The Taken King - TaKing Away your Gear, and giving you 5000% more grind and nerfs. RIP Gally, Icebreaker, and new Black Spindle
Welcome to Destiny and Expansions. Even if they didn't nerf Ghorn, it would still be useless. Most Raid bosses are made to be killed with snipers. Also they aren't nerfing the mew Black Spindle. If you call reducing the attack value, which I think is horrible decision on their part, a nerf, then you're wrong.

Welcome to an mmo type game. Where with Every expansions old gear becomes useless. Usually vanity. And dare day destiny isnt an mmo type
-
Bro, i feel u need to re-think your life ! Its all about the grind for new content, gear etc. Thats the whole point of Destiny, to evolve. Ive never played this type of game but after playing Destiny i see why people do like it. Get with the programme, get grinding and embrace it or go back to cod camping glitching rubbish type games !
-
lmao of course you name ice breaker and ghally. You need crutch weapons to beat the story and raids. Gtfo you damn scrub and go play minecraft or something
-
You really re made this post? Had to change it I see. You took out the dumb part about trials not coming back. Dumb pleb. Muted.
-
No the new found artificial difficulty is too hard for most average/casual players and that is the highest number of players that play this game. Good luck if you think the elites can keep it going. They can't.
-
This covers pretty much all of my complaints with TTK. It's pathetic how much grind Bungievision is trying to force on us. As a vanilla player, I'm not about to go through that shit again. I'll just stick to pvp
-
I agree 90% with this post.. I am not a fan of the light level at all.. The grind is worse than before.. Remember their bs they sold us when they said they wanted to get us to that point quickly where we can enjoy endgame content, what a joke. It's worse because now lfg only wants minimum light level of 309 or something ridiculous.. I feel like they haven't learned from their mistakes. And it lost some appeal to me because those year 1 weapons were something special.. Everyone knew them all by name.. Now the names and the weapons are just starting to be lame.. Why they continue to move backwards is just crazy to me.
-
Yep Exactly Bungle and asininevision, what a pair they make
-
That's it. I'm canceling my preorder.
-
Your serious right?
-
Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa, and no
-
Git gud scrub
-
This!! I totally feel this..i've been stuck at light 290 for a week now.. I've tried doing all those vanguard strike playlist, patrols, quests, but all my engram drops were 260-270s which made me think they cap engram lvl drop when we reach 290... Problem is, i tried to do the raid with a bunch of 290s and we were having difficulty with DPS vs Warpriest and eventually gave up after 3hours there.. I felt the grind in year 1 was more rewarding in terms of ,levelling up then do the raid to get the end game gear to reach the max lvl.. Now, even preparing for the raid need a massive amount of luck from engram drop -.-
