Has there been any word on why the taken king is not a console thing or if they are planning on fixing this issue cause I have yet to play while my little cousin can play on my 360 file I would appreciate an answer it's not too much to ask thanks

But it really seems like bungie is just ignoring the issue, probably because they think they'll get more money out of it.
