I deleted my heavy weapon sword
I just got the heavy weapon sword and was upgrading it but somehow deleted it instead of upgrading it. I did not know about the lock button until it was too late. Is there a way the get that mission back to get the sword again?

I dismantled mine as well since it was much lower than my other heavy weps... - call me crazy for thinking there would be higher swords to get. There's got to be a way to get the quest again, especially if the sword is required for later quests... Bungie - maybe if the sword is dismantled the quest becomes available through Abandon Quests kiosk? I would imagine that would solve issue of rinse and repeat to get several swords?

Do the quest on another character.

As far as my knowledge goes, there isn't. You'll have to create a new character and run through the process of earning another Sword. Sorry about that.
