Let me be clear: I just spent 35 minutes completing the Taken version of the Valus Ta'Aurc strike in the heroic playlist with the playlist buff granting me a chance for better drops since that strike was my second strike, and the fact that I stacked 7 "three of coins" in order for a pretty good chance of getting an exotic engram to drop. But in the end, after spending 35 minutes I received NOTHING! -blam!-ING NOTHING! No engrams, no nothing. No other guardian should experience what I experienced today. I understand this game is RNG based, but really? We have a chance with two increase drop rate buffs to get nothing?
Side note: they nerfed the hell out of "three of coins." I have run 6 trials of stacking 7 "three of coins" and have only received 1 exotic arm engram. That means there is only a ~16 percent chance of getting an exotic engram stacking 7 "three of coins" (need n=30 to make the percent statistically significant, so as of right now 16 percent is a trend) which means I spent ~59 strange coins on one exotic engram. If Xur wasn't a -blam!- and sold an engram today I would have been able to purchase one for much less.
Final thoughts: NOBODY should experience what I experienced today with the longest strike in the game.

Yeah, I did Valus on Vanguard playlist today and he didn't even drop any blues. I was rather upset as well. But it isn't the end of the world. However, I agree that the Three of Coins is nerfed way too hard. I'm 0 for 4.
