At home, I was just lounging there
Reclining in my comfy chair
Don't know how or what it was
But suddenly I heard a buzz
A humming sound within the halls
Drumming, thrumming, in the walls
It felt alive, pulsing aloud
The terror came on, like a shroud
It drove me mad, my mind did roam
This monstrous beast within my home
Was ready to devour me
So I sought first to set it free
Then burn it down to bone and ash
And end this madness, make it pass
Tearing open walls, I found
It was just bees that made the sound
A hive had grown, I felt appalled
So I had it uninstalled
After poisoning the bees
Spraying gas, the noise did cease
And on that day, a lesson learned
But peace of mind I had not earned
To realize some truths like these
Monsters are real, just ask the bees.
