I have done the mission that you receive at the reef. At the end you ar suppose to get an Exotic Scout Rifle. Yet I and a couple of my peers have not received it. Idk if its glitched but I am sad.

finish the missions variks gives you and make sure your lvl 3 or higher with petra and she will give it to you

Correct. Some YouTube videos outline the same thing happening then you'll get it.
