"Not really. Kids were scarred of me because of size. 5 feet tall in the second grade....."
He smiles as not the waiter, but the manager himself walks up with two glasses and a bottle of wine. Tommy looks over and stands.
"Hey Dante."
Dante sets the glasses on the table and shakes Tommy's hand.
"How you been, man?"
"Not bad.....this is Astrid, my girlfriend."
Dante looks over and extends his hand.
"I'm Dante."

[spoiler]it's fine, I was sleeping[/spoiler] "This was a nice date."

"I'm glad you liked it. I assume you want to go back to you're forge?"

"Maybe, unless you want to go somewhere else?"

"It's up to you." He smiles as All Summer Long by Kid Rock plays low on the radio.

"Then lets go back to the forge."

"Alright." He puts the car in gear and drives off towards the forge.

[b]Astrid checks her claws and notices that they have almost regrown[/b] "Why do they have to grow back so fast?"

He smiles at her. "Beats me."

"But at least they didn't finish while we were in the restaurant."

"I guess that good." He makes a left turn, around a guy that would've hit them. It seems he's been in this driving situation a billion times.

"Wow, you're really good at driving."

"Thanks. I'd tell you where I learned, but I don't think you'd like me afterwards." He smiles at her as recovers and gets back on track to the forge.

"I will still like you if you tell me."
-
"You sure? It's kinda.....messed up."

"how about I tell you something and you tell me something?"
-
He nods. "Fair enough."
-
"You know how most people have kids of their own accord?."
-
He nods, taking a right turn.

"My mother didn't want me at first, she was -blam!- by my father who was a night remnant."

"I don't see she wouldn't have wanted you." He smiles at her.

"I mean that she was horrified when she was pregnant but she still loved me."

"Oh.....what happened to your....father?"
-
"No idea, but if I see him, I'll kick his ass."

"I'll help, too." He smiles at her. "I guess it's my turn, then." He takes a deep breath. "Before all of this, in my teens I was a gangster. I robbed banks, killed people, moved drugs, the whole nine yards. I've changed. I really have for the better."

"Wow, but what happened in the past is in the past, I still think you're a good person."
