Bungie released a chart weeks ago that detailed the usage of those weapons and how they were used much more frequently than others. Complaints are inherently biased so decisions are made based on player data. If there is an even spread of classes being used according to usage data, there is no reason to nerf a class.

Bungie collects player data from every player, this shows raid completions, playlist populations, weapon usage, class usage, etc. if they didnt collect data on players you wouldnt be able to view your games played, k/d and virtually everything else associated with your guardian on this website.
