As a hunter, I have seen a titan go hammer. I have busted out GG shot him, and he hit me with a hammer. You may have been already taking damage or the hunter may have been using nighthawk. But in all other instances it does take 2 GG to down a hammer bro.

Hey man, I dunno what to tell you. I've experienced it multiple times running the gunslinger quest line. Judging by all the other people saying they see it happen too, it can't just be a case of "git gud". Maybe he hit you with a headshot? I guess i'll just have to jump into the crucible and experiment to see what I find.

I wouldn't think which body part matters as long as it's a direct hit. If you find otherwise, I'd love to know. But yes, I agree. Close-medium range should definitely be a one shot.
