The bow isn't that powerful. If you don't know how to shoot then you deserved to die. Just because you get tethered doesn't mean you can't fight back and kill the person who tethered you so it's your own fault for sucking

You move very slow though a good hunter will spam the evade button and kill you in your face while tethered

The evade covers very little ground and has no invincibility frames. You also can't spam a move that can only be used 2x before it gets a cooldown.

Yea, but you can still shoot. If you have a hunter you can normally gauge where they are going to be as once you evade you are stuck with it and you will always end up a set distance away and can be killed during the entire duration of the move. Works great in PVE, PVP seems to get you shot.

Its been great to me, depends on the players skill then. Tethered enemies move really slow. If a hunter dies from a slow moving enemy then they are bad

I'm not referring to shadestepping a slowed enemy. I'm not shadestepping trapped enemies, I'm shooting them in the face. Shadestepping a slowed enemy is a bit overkill.

Yeah thats what i thought we were referring to in the beginning lol on a regular basis i use shade step the way poshy does it. Its hard to explain but if you watch him play on twitch you will see

I think evade needs a bit more in PvE at least

Yeah, 99% of the time if you get tethered you're gonna die. Skill or no, the lack of movement and swarming enemies makes it highly improbable to dodge anything. I'm not saying that the bow is OP, because it's balanced. But no amount of skill will save you when you get tethered in a 6v6 gamemode.

I've been tethered several times in control and rift and killed the person who tethered me and escaped with no issues. Unless it's a direct hit or the odds are against you it's not hard to turn the tables against a bow

Tethered, all abilities suppressed, took damage from the tether, limited movement, Hunter has a full clip, other enemies are closing in on you. The odds are severely stacked in the Hunter's favor. I have escaped maybe one or two, but that's nothing compared to how many tethers I've been in and died. Kind of like shutting down other supers, it can be done, but it's certainly not easy for most players. Seriously though, props to you man, but it is not a common occurrence for the majority of us.

It's not that difficult if you've ever mained a hunter and knew how to handle your weapons in close quarters. I for one am a shotgun fan and tlw happens to be my favorite gun so in each of three scenarios I was in I was prepared for a slide quarters shootout. I'm sure a lot of other people have done it
