Does that work? If I go on xbox.com and purchase the upgrade for $20, will i be able to use it on my 360? I don't have an xbox one, but will it work if I go on xbox one and purchase it and somehow transfer that purchase on my 360?

If you purchase the upgrade on the one all the items on your account should be useable.on 360 the initial purchase is to just gain access to the items
