Fatal Vision - How to aquire?
I have been drooling over this ship blueprint since 2.0 hit and now that I have finished all story missions and all quests available (minus crucible quests since I hate pvp) I am starting to wonder if this is just bugged. How do you get this ship???
The description just says, "Taken King Quest Reward" but I haven't seen anyone that has it and there is absolutely no information out there regarding it. I have seen very scanty and insubstantial rumors that it is bugged and everyone was supposed to get it for completing the main story line but I can find no source confirmation that would link this rumor to any source at Bungie.
Does anyone have ANY info on how to get this unlocked or what quest is required for it? It is not listed under Strike, Crucible, Raid, or Faction etc. so I highly doubt that it drops from any playlist of those. The fact that it is listed singly under its own category entitled "The Taken King" makes the claim that it is a reward from the main storyline very feasible to my mind, but I would love some confirmation on this.
I really really REALLY want this ship. :)

I just ranked up my vanguard to level 94 and still have not got it lol.

I have ranked up dozens of times since the April update and still no ship, and as if to rub salt into the wound two of my team mates got it from their first package at the same time.

Why are some people getting it, yet I have ranked up 3 characters 10 ranks(30+ levels) or more since it was changed to Vanguard? WTF?!

vanguard package, aint even done heroic oryx, so defo comes from vanguard lol

Got mine last night upon reaching rank 10 vanguard alongside a new chest piece after I completed the S.A.B.E.R. strike on hard mode to get Sleeper Simulant, which was worth it btw

Ok so finally Bungie has changed the ships description to say that it is now available through vanguard packages. Not sure why this took 8 months and a patch to fix.

I got one after the update yesterday. :) Not sure if it came in Sterling Silver Box or not, but it was available at the post master. Beautiful looking ship.

If I'm reading the latest update post correctly, the fatal vision so is in the image of new vendor loot for the vanguard.

Has anyone figured out the last jump quest part with the spikes you stand on to open that door? Maybe it's connected.

1 ReplyI know the "silent scream" emblem says taken King quest reward before you acquire it and you get it by doing something on the dreadnaught. Same does the fatal vision ship so maybe you have to find out where in the destiny universe it can be obtained. As I'm writing this I'm searching each nook and cranny of all patrol location to find that sexy beast.

Maybe this ship does not exist and will never drop. They are toying with us. i.e It is a dagger of the mind. We are like, why hasn't it dropped?
