Sometimes its just about what operator you end up speaking to so maybe try again. I just clearly explained that I could no longer access content I had paid for and didn't want to pay another £40 to access it so felt it was fair to ask for a refund.

Just to emphasise online chat didn't get a good result you have to actually ring up
