Any use to level gunsmith past rank 1?
As title says, whats the point behind rank 1? I placed an order right now.

The higher the level the more orders you get. And he gives special quests for leveling him to 2 and 5 I believe.

You get secondary specific to your class at rank 2, and a class specific primary at rank 3, plus packages like any other faction when you hit a higher rank.

I got to rank 2 and got gunsmith quest. They said you can get to rank 3 and based on what character you use, you can get an exotic class item gun.

Rank 2 you get a legendary weapon quest. Titans get a shotgun, warlocks a fusion rifle, and hunters a sniper. At rank 3 you get an exotic weapon quest, Titans get a shit auto rifle, warlocks a pretty cool scout rifle, and hunters a hand cannon.

Yes! Rank 3 gives each class a specific exotic quest. Hunter gets a hand cannon, Titan gets an AR, and Warlock gets a scout rifle. I have the AR and love it. I didn't really use ARs much before 2.0.

You get more orders as you rank your gunsmith up. Also the quests for class weapons.

Ranks give you quests at 2 and 3. Also you can order as many weapons as yiu have ranks. Also when your package comes you will have a choice on each weapon of different rolls on that weapon equal to your rank. Rank 2, 2 different rolls and you pick one. Rank 3, 3 different rolls.

yes it's free legendary marks once a week. the higher the rank the more guns which is more marks.

7 RepliesRank 2 gets you the quest for a Legendary with a great set of perks (one will be unique) Rank 3 gets you the (easy) quest for a class specific Exotic Rank 4 and up... I'm not sure.

3 RepliesYou get foundry weapons (suros,häkke,omolon) after rank one so that's cool. Plus at rank 2 you get a legendary quest which gives you a class specific weapon. At rank 3 you get an exotic quest. I think it was 100 kills with a certain weapon type while using a telemetry. After that, you dismantle specific weapons and you get the exotic! You only need 2 legendaries to finish the second step, exotics won't count.
