Any use to level gunsmith past rank 1?
As title says, whats the point behind rank 1? I placed an order right now.

Yes.. The higher the rank more orders and more perks to choose from.

At ranks 2-3 there are quests which are really easy that give class specific weapons.

You can get another package per level. I have ordered two so far

Obviously there is. Order weapons, get random quests for amazing weapons. Look at my hunter, Ace of Spades and Stillpiercer both from Gunsmith. I advise you all to level him up, treated me well so far.

4 RepliesI got a 300 weapon at rank 2 from a package and a legendary class specific weapon. And at rank 3 I got my exotic scout rifle that's a monster in PvP. It's on my Warlock if you want to see it.

Hit rank 3 with gunsmith and you get a class specific exotic primary. Titans get an auto rifle. Hunters a hand cannon and warlocks a scout rifle. Only obtained from the rank 3 gunsmith quest

reward packages, placing more orders (im at 3 n can place 3), unique class-specific weapons at rank 2 and another at 3 (exotic). so yeah, totes worth.

Im rank 3 and was able to place 3 orders this week. That could be reason to level up.

Class-specific legendary and exotic weapons, buy more armsday orders, more choices on armsday order rolls, and packages with free legendaries. Yeah, lots of use.

2 RepliesYes. Class specific weapon quests are unlocked at Rank 2 and 3. Each rank rewards a package as well. I have a feeling Gunsmith rank might have something to do with the Sleeper Simulant quest.

Rank 2 give a class specific legendary special quest. I have the Hunter one equipped on my level 40. Rank three gives a class specific primary exotic quest. No idea after that.

Ditto to what most people have said so far, also this is one way to get more legendary marks. If you place orders and dont actually want any of the guns because they're at 280, just dismantle and get the marks from them.

Rank 2 unlocks a quest for a legendary,rank 3 a quest for exotic,rank 4 not sure,rank 5 first curse exotic ,possibly
