Edited by o Chungus o: 9/23/2015 9:13:28 PMYou can't play destiny without gold membership. So yes, it's worth it.
-
I don't think you can play without it
-
It's definitely worth it but don't pay monthly if you're going to get it. You can save literally 50 percent by just buying a 12 month subscription up front

Without gold means you'll be a forever solo player. If you go to Amazon, you can buy gold for two years. That's a $1 per month cheaper than gold for 1 year. Also, gold memberships stack. If you find it really cheap and you already have it, go ahead and buy it again. It'll stack on your current membership and kick in when the current expires. I don't believe there's a limit to how many you can stack. Follow Major Nelson on Twitter. He's always posting where XBL deals can be found.

1. Lets you play all the content in the game. And to be honest the solo story is not the best. It has gotten a lot better but not worth it without the end game content. 2. Free games with gold - not always good but sometimes they will surprise you. And hey we like free games. (example: tomb raider, assassins creed, gears of war... have all been free with gold at some point so it is def. worth it) 3. I don't think I have a 3 but it is still worth it.

You can't actually play Destiny without it.
-
Do it. I bought gold and ps plus to play on both platforms and I have no regrets

Over the last 50 years, the S&P500 Index has out performed the inflation adjusted value for gold. So do yourself a favor, and just invest in a low cost index fund.

You can't do anything that has matchmaking without gold. That means no crucible, no strikes, no raid. You'll basically be limited to stories and patrol without gold. In my opinion, Destiny is pointless without it.

Edited by Patriot121: 9/23/2015 3:19:37 PMI think to only need silver to play, but it will lock you out of all multiplayer activities without gold. This isn't just crucible, but strikes and such. Plus the best thing about this game are the raids so I'd really recommend getting gold for that.

xbox one isn't worth it if you don't have gold, much less destiny
-
You should really get gold. You will need it to play Destiny. Sure there is some stuff but you're missing like half the game. And that's the better half that you will be missing.
-
You won't be able to do anything really.
-
I believe Destiny requires an online connection with the gold membership to play any activity as the game makes you come across over guardians during single player. You need gold.

You need gold.

Get gold

You wont be able to play anything that has other players in it. Possibly just the story. But you'll be soloing almost everything
