...You actually don't care if sunbreaker gets nerfed or not!

I honestly think sunbreaker [b][u]isn't[/u][/b] that Over Powered, however if it were to get nerfed slightly I wouldn't retaliate.
Here's why!
The entirety of year 1 should be a hallmark for the Titans that managed to do well in crucible in the face of blink shotgunners and supers that simply made ours look obsolete.
I commend others who decided to main titan and stick with it.
People who primarily played as the other classes had never truly acknowledged that striker and defender titans were kind of underwhelming in multiplayer [spoiler]some people made an exception[/spoiler] saying things like "you have the best grenades and shoulder charge is wayyy too OP dude, you guys don't need a buff. Screw that!" and that's still up for debate. Now sunbreaker [u]seems[/u] more powerful in comparison and they [b]SCREAM[/b] for nerfs.
To be honest I would rather earn the respect and recognition of other players (even if they're snobs) by beating them with lousy abilities than have them spit in our faces as if we are some kind of cheating scum.
We need to show that we are the better people. Right now is the time of our burning vengeance and that's perfectly fine with me, but if bungie smacks us with their own hammer I would happily be treated like an equal combatant even if it ment becoming lesser.
In the lore, being a Titan means showing honor and respect, remembering the sacrifices that you had to fight through to gain it. It translates pretty well into what Y1 PvP was like. People who just moved over to Titan for sunbreaker might not ever get that sense of mentality.

I've always considered my hunter as "main" but my titan is always right there, often he is the first to do end-game stuff like Skolas. Sometimes I'll go almost a week or so with Titan getting all the screen time, warlock gets that sometimes too. Still rolling defender in PVP and mostly PVE - have not even finished the solar subclass (forget to swap when turning in bounties or it would have been done a long time ago)

I love the feel of being able to smash through crowds of enemies & Watching them burn in my light. But for those who fear us in the crucible & believe Titans should be nerfed. I am honored that we have instilled fear into your hearts.

I started as a Warlock because Nova Bomb was so cool to me. I saw Fist of Havoc rek house in PvP and I fell in love. I made a Titan and I fell in love so hard you could of sworn I was smashed. I unlocked Shoulder Charge and had so much fun tackling everybody. Now it's my my main. Love my Titan.

I tried playing titan in crucible so many different times, either using Defender or Striker. Regardless I couldn't do anything at all. The new subclass isn't OP. It's the player using it.

Granted it was right at the end of the match, but it was still pretty damned good since I very rarely had anything to do with Crucible..my K/D should say something about that. EDIT: Did I mention that I've mained a Titan since Y1? I had a Hunter and a Warlock with both subclasses maxed on all three, but they got reset when I ended up with 2 Sparks of Light.

I did say Titan was slightly lacking compared to the other classes. Now that TTK is here however, Sunbreaker is all I play in PvP. I think any reasonable person who has played Sunbreaker in PvP can easily see it needs some adjustments.

1 ReplyStrikers appeal to me simply because shoulder charge can be made to one shot basically anyone. and it's only a melee ability. Or the ability to tank whatever I want and super someone.

To my everlasting shame I mained a hunter for a long time. It was the only character I made that I would play. Then a friend of mine talked me into playing a titan. I deleted my hunter when TTK came out. I don't play much pvp, but I can wreck pve enemies without a hammer, so it's all good.

My first character was Titan. Damnit I played Titan till dark below. I always hated being only close range in pvp. I switched to Hunter and started hating first of panickers. I will admit Titans were hated because there were so many who would come around a corner and see anything and be like shit I can't kill them cuz I'm a noob let me just fist of panic. I admire the Titans who were able to get 2+ kills with a super. Finally Titans arnt close range. To all salty hunters just think. How do u think Titans felt when they were golden gunned from halfway across the map? This is how u feel now.

I maintained q 1.2 KD on my titan main through year one, and a 1.4 on my first warlock and 1.6 on my hunter. After sunbreaker, I went up to 1.4 on my titan and growing. I don't care if it gets tweaked, but I am finally able to perform on my titan to the level of the other subclasses.

You're a spigot for orbs, an extra overshield and saftey to others in danger, you can still titan skate with defender, you can make guns more powerful upon command, you can be almost invulnerable inside armor of light...all the more reason defender is the masterrace of Titans. [spoiler]Btw, I'm pretty sure my titan is the sexiest guardian in the last city [i]and[/i] she helps people. Who doesn't want a smoking hot awoken chick defending you?[/spoiler]

Titans had it the hardest all last year but still got their share most of the time. i won't care that they'll nerf it back to the ground ( that's bungie-nerfs in a nutshell). We adapted before, we'll adapt again.

2 RepliesIt's interesting how we whine about stuff and people are told to suck it up and play yet when something affects us all (like the cheaters in trials) we ALL protest, as a community, not divided by small matters such as subclasses in pvp or something is too OP, this is what a good community would do but those who create nerf posts, maybe you could try a different approach to the situation rather than your regular style of play, for example, if you hide around the corner when a shotgun wielding player comes around use your vertical height as a advantage as the radar will still place you around the corner, giving you ample time to run away or shotgun them yourself
