...You actually don't care if sunbreaker gets nerfed or not!
this post was pre nerf, I really like the striker buffs :)
--------------------------------------
I honestly think sunbreaker isn't that Over Powered, however if it were to get nerfed slightly I wouldn't retaliate.
Here's why!
The entirety of year 1 should be a hallmark for the Titans that managed to do well in crucible in the face of blink shotgunners and supers that simply made ours look obsolete.
I commend others who decided to main titan and stick with it.
People who primarily played as the other classes had never truly acknowledged that striker and defender titans were kind of underwhelming in multiplayer
some people made an exception
saying things like "you have the best grenades and shoulder charge is wayyy too OP dude, you guys don't need a buff. Screw that!" and that's still up for debate. Now sunbreaker seems more powerful in comparison and they SCREAM for nerfs.
To be honest I would rather earn the respect and recognition of other players (even if they're snobs) by beating them with lousy abilities than have them spit in our faces as if we are some kind of cheating scum.
We need to show that we are the better people. Right now is the time of our burning vengeance and that's perfectly fine with me, but if bungie smacks us with their own hammer I would happily be treated like an equal combatant even if it ment becoming lesser.
In the lore, being a Titan means showing honor and respect, remembering the sacrifices that you had to fight through to gain it. It translates pretty well into what Y1 PvP was like. People who just moved over to Titan for sunbreaker might not ever get that sense of mentality.
Edit: I try to reply to everyone, sorry if I seem annoying :P
Edit2: A big thanks for everyone who enjoys my post!!
Edit3: Thanks again for keeping the post alive.
Warlocks and hunters welcome if respectful!

In crucible I can't hit shit with that damn hammer. Nerd it I'll be using fist of havoc. No one expects it any more.
-
I love my Titan :) #titanpride

Edited by Born A Beast: 9/23/2015 1:47:23 AMYeah its too bad everyone is crying so much about it when its fine. I love titans in general and always welcome one into my fireteam.
-
Preach it brother.
-
I think it's funny that every time I pulled out Thorn and Felwinter on my Hunter, I got rekt. But when I pulled out Necrochasm and a sniper on my Titan (pre necro buff) I got like a 2.5 KD everytime. I'm cursed.
-
Welp, my super motivatonal post got over shadowed by nerf posts again. As usual...
-
BUMP OF SOL!!

Amen my Titan brethren amen

Edited by The Lonely Road: 9/23/2015 1:30:49 AMHonestly I'm a warlock kinda guy but I feel all classes should have their own area where they are strong. So it feels good that Titans get something like this, but it's not like they weren't powerful before. People just put them down because of blink shotgun and etc. I don't think it should be nerfed people are just butthurt

Edited by Jutsu: 9/23/2015 1:17:50 AMIt really can't be any truer spoken, how you said that those who don't main the Titan don't understand its underwhelming nature, save for the power granted through Sunbreaker. Many took the venture and saw for themselves, after it was announced that we would finally receive a more viable subclass. They scurried over to the Titan side in preparation and found just how much more difficult it was to stay on par with the remaining two class types. It's mostly the people who didn't, who complain for the purpose of a Sunbreaker diminishment. Because if they knew how intricate it was to do as well as they had, with Striker and Defender in year 1, they would realize how preposterous the proposition of a nerf actually sounds to veteran Titans.

I have a hammer. That's all that matters
-
-
I don't care! Titan hype!
-
Check my story history, I started this titan in January, haven't had anything since, recently started others cus of subclasses
-
I feel accomplished for being myself. I don't get that every day.
-
I want that damn helmet.
-
Been a titan since the beta
-
Umm.. What do I count as if I was a titan since beta, switched my main to hunter near the end of TDB, and then I switched back to titan for TTK?
-
LOVE TITAN in PvP, it's main for that, while Hunter for PvE. (I know I'm weird!) I have gotten 3 Mark Of The Unbrokens And A We Ran Out Of Metals With My Defender :D
-
I've always played crucible or IB with my Titan in Y1, even though I main a hunter. Here is how I see it. Hunters : try hard mode Warlocks : SUPERtryhard mode Titans : needs skills but definitely feels great to be successful. I might not play crucible as much anymore but I'll enjoy the days of using my fist of havoc and not a fist of panic.
-
Honestly, if it means an end to the conflict, I will gladly give up some of the power. All I want is for us to focus on killing Oryx, not each other.
-
I think you are a true Titan if you have upgraded all Titan subclasses to the max.
-
I'm just enjoying a maneuverable super for once! Though defender and helm of st.14 is still the best imo
-
I've never seen Titans as weak, I actually kicked ass as one before taken King. Don't see why people always said Titans suck xD
