...You actually don't care if sunbreaker gets nerfed or not!
this post was pre nerf, I really like the striker buffs :)
--------------------------------------
I honestly think sunbreaker isn't that Over Powered, however if it were to get nerfed slightly I wouldn't retaliate.
Here's why!
The entirety of year 1 should be a hallmark for the Titans that managed to do well in crucible in the face of blink shotgunners and supers that simply made ours look obsolete.
I commend others who decided to main titan and stick with it.
People who primarily played as the other classes had never truly acknowledged that striker and defender titans were kind of underwhelming in multiplayer
some people made an exception
saying things like "you have the best grenades and shoulder charge is wayyy too OP dude, you guys don't need a buff. Screw that!" and that's still up for debate. Now sunbreaker seems more powerful in comparison and they SCREAM for nerfs.
To be honest I would rather earn the respect and recognition of other players (even if they're snobs) by beating them with lousy abilities than have them spit in our faces as if we are some kind of cheating scum.
We need to show that we are the better people. Right now is the time of our burning vengeance and that's perfectly fine with me, but if bungie smacks us with their own hammer I would happily be treated like an equal combatant even if it ment becoming lesser.
In the lore, being a Titan means showing honor and respect, remembering the sacrifices that you had to fight through to gain it. It translates pretty well into what Y1 PvP was like. People who just moved over to Titan for sunbreaker might not ever get that sense of mentality.
Edit: I try to reply to everyone, sorry if I seem annoying :P
Edit2: A big thanks for everyone who enjoys my post!!
Edit3: Thanks again for keeping the post alive.
Warlocks and hunters welcome if respectful!

so hang on, the first titan power that is actually good in pvp IMO is considered OP? bitch please
-
You just hammered a Warlocks ass (no homo) and took a Hunters lunch money.
while walking in slow mo with ACDC playing in the background
-
I miean, if it gets nerfed, ill be a little dissapointed, but im not gonna be a bitch about it, ive mained a titan since day one and plan to keep it that way
-
When people pick a character it basically says Titans are made for war and can take damage while dealing it out. Obviously I'm paraphrasing but it's true, and if they have a problem then make a titan and play with it. Learn to adapt, I complain for few things mainly against assholes who act like theyre better than other people, but this is something silly

Titens fer layp
-
Why are warlocks getting a free pass here? Is it bc Titans sucked for so long? The new Warlock subclass is just as bad if not worse, I had to hit a Warlock in super with 3 hammers before taking him down. And hunters have always been broken, so they have no right to complain
-
I think it's underpowered in PvE and fine where it is PvP In PvE I couldn't kill an ultra, unless I had an extra hammer, but 3 rockets could or 6 sniper shots could.
-
You're a true Titan if you just play as a Titan. *Didn't read post. Too lazy. Sue me.*

Edited by TooGoodForYou: 9/23/2015 7:13:46 AMUr a titan wen u see an arc blade and actually chase it. Only titans know wat i mean. No dancing allowed

Striker was not underwhelming in PvP, I just can't agree with that. I have played all 3 over 6 characters, and I never had a problem with the Titan in PvP, shoulder charge is beast, the lightning grenade can be brutal and let's now even talk about FoH that can one shot people through walls and 20ft in the air. I always felt like warlocks were the trickiest to play as in PvP, until now with their Jesus storms...
-
I don't use sunbreaker in crucible, I think that class just relies on its super, I've always stuck with with Striker. Now with all the complainers I think I might use it to collect tears
-
I dont need space magic on ma Titan, fck magic u can have it back.
-

While I do agree all the older classes pale in comparison to the new ones, I don't think Bungie is changing a thing about Sunbreakers. They gave Gunslingers some extra golden gun damage so even they could consistently kill titans mid Fist of Havoc or Bladedancers mid-super. Golden Gun is now a reliable super stopper. Unless Bungie themselves say something about this, don't expect any changes at all.

Defender titan for life. Finally got the emblem and mark for my defender so I can truly represent.
-
Ur a true titan if u dont care bout nerf
cause u dont have dlc 😏
-
I usually main a hunter but i have found i do better in crucible (before sunbreaker) with my titan. I enjoy using all 3 classes though.
-
I play all three types and I love that the Titan is finally getting some love. In terms of if the Sunbreaker is OP or not... It's a bit too early to tell.
-
All of te supers are op that is the point of it being called a super so people who complain about them.. DONT
-
i think its like this. if i call a stupid person stupid, i might be a hypocrite, but I'm not wrong. (i'm not calling any of you stupid) so like, hunter supers were better, but that doesnt mean that now that titans are the best, it should not be balanced..
-
I main a hunter and I don't care if sunbreaker gets nerfed just wish others wouldn't give us a bad name! Be it Hunter, Titan or Warlock
-
The problem is right now sun breaker rocks in pve. It would be stupid to 50% of the game for one class
-
I don't care because for PvP I think striker and defender are more effective, I use weapons of light on defender for 2 shot headshots, but sunbreaker is the most fun, I mainly use striker because of its grenades
-
They need to leave the damn Titans alone, they did nothing to anybody. Don't evolve the game around bi***es
