Ok I can say this, why did you waste your motes of light on a faction when you could've done the story and extended quest(THAT LEVEL YOUR LIGHT UP) to be able to do the raid. I am like rank 7 in dead orbit and got a nice helm from them from a package randomly. I used the rare engrams to get helms that are higher light to INFUSE into my helm. Before you bash on the fact that you wasted your motes of light for a faction, try to play they game. Not calling you a cheater, but those who cheat at life receive little. Its understandable that you grinded for motes of light, but it is beyond comprehension that you as an individual wasted your time in a game to just level up a faction. Do you know what infusion is. If you get a weapon or armor that has higher light than your favorite legendary item, then you can infuse it into the favorite item to increase the legendary item's light. Boom, that's how you play Destiny 2.0 now.

I don't understand why your attacking me. I spent a lot of time earning those ascendant materials in the vault of glass and crotas end. I left the game due to various reasons. I did not cheat in anyway. I have another character that is nearly level 30 dead orbit as well. I completed every bounty every day on three characters for nearly a year! If that's cheating I'm doing something wrong. There are a dozen things that they have done that basically make all that time wasted. Instead of complaining about them all I just wanted this issue to be known and hope they can fix it and give me what I earned. I have played the story so many times it makes me sick. I earned matts I have been given a way to use them. It didn't work.

Was not attacking you at all. If you have Taken King, then why are you relying solely on factions to get to the raid. As I mention you can earn light levels without a faction. I have the helm from dead orbit and it was like a low light level until I infused rare helms that had higher light into my helm. I was simply saying this: play the dlc if you have it if you want to do the new raid so you can get a higher light, its not the games fault you wasted your motes of light.

Dont mean to be the bearer of bad news but im pretty sure those packages are gone. The way the new system works it discards old ones if the latest arent picked up. So sorry for your losses

Yeah I realize they are gone. Just wanted to post in the hopes someone from bungie could pull some logs and send me what I lost. Also wanted people who may be of the old mindset like myself to be aware. It was fun to fill your post master with legendary packages and open them all at once. I thought I was doing the same thing.
