Bungie is TAKING our money away.
This is so stupid. I paid 100 dollars on destiny. Now I can't play that anymore since I don't have TTK? Really? What the -blam!-. I can't even afford TTK right now. This is bullshit. I can't play destiny the game that so much memories came from and now I can't play it anymore. Is this even legal? Like now CMON. Now I regret buying destiny........

Anything you paid for is still there for you to play and experience. The Taken King is a new END GAME with new END GAME loot and activities. If you dont have the new end game you get left out. It is Just like if you played Borderlands 1 and 2. If you dont buy the new DLC then you cant play or get the new guns and Items however you can sill play anything YOU payed for. Likewise Endgame activities (Weekly, Nightfall, ToO, TTK Raid, ect) are as they sound ENDGAME Activities. If you dont have the updated Endgame you will be left behind. The same thing is going to happen when Destiny 2 comes out.

1 ReplyThe only thing they "took away" was endgame content. Everything else? It's still there. Besides it wouldn't be fair to people who bought TTK if people who didn't buy TTK were able to get exotics and gear from TTK

14 RepliesYou can still play all that you paid for. All the story missions, all the strikes, raids, crucible maps, and patrols. The only thing they did was move up end game activities to give you the best gear in TTK, which you don't need to play year 1 content

Much love to you all[/quote] I completely agree, I wanted to see how Bungie treated past customers, and I was disappointed to say the least. Putting the PoE treasure keys behind a pay wall is the part that really pissed me off. All that said, I have been enjoying crucible and those subclasses do look sweet. I think I will buy TTK, but I will understand that it is a rental, not a purchase. They can only disappoint me when I am foolish enough to expect better from them.

3 RepliesIt sucks man but I could almost complain that ppl who didn't buy the previous expansions are now getting them free while I had to pay out. So really someone who bought vanilla destiny, then waited for the taken king are getting it for less than I paid. Its a downside to these types of progressively forward moving games. They can't sell TTK at the price we collectively paid for. That wouldn't attract new players. And how much access to new content can they give you without paying before people who bought the expansion start to question why they paid? Its a -blam!-ed up business model, but they have ppl to pay and tons of us players to cater to. Best way to go about it is make sure no one walks away completely happy. As -blam!-ed up as that sounds there's no making everyone happy lol. Hope you get the game man. I find it well worth the dookats

If you seriously cannot afford the meager sum of money for the hours of entertainment you are liable to get from the DLC, then perhaps you should consider doing something a little more productive with your spare time rather than playing a video game. TL:DR Get a job you pleb

I bought destiny, bought both dlcs for 20 each, then another 20 for HOW thennn 400+ for the taken king ps4 edition and the 20$ emotes/class items. I work i have 3 almost 4 kids (january 15) married im 25 and bought all this Step.Yo.Game.Up! Oh and to top it off paid 40 for TTK on ps3 for my buddys still there
