I know that you nerfed magazine size (on HCs) and Field Scout, both of which were understandable changes. However, I now regularly run out of primary weapon ammunition. Running out of special/heavy is a fact of life in the game, but primary ammo should last a while and be readily accessible. Note: I'm not talking about situations where the Juggler modifier is active.
For example, Hawkmoon, an exotic hand cannon (still boasting the largest magazine, which is really nice) has a PITIFUL reserve. Yes, it can be increased via armor perks, but without armor perks, it can hold 13 in the mag and I think 52 in reserve. That is a measly 5 magazines total. Especially when it takes half of one mag to kill a major in patrol--not to mention the number of bullets a boss can take--a guardian runs out of ammo VERY quickly.
I know you've added ammo crates to strikes. GREAT idea. Love that change. But I think their presence ends up making an even stronger case for a reserve ammo buff b/c even with ammo crates, running out is still an issue.
Thanks for making a great game--I hope you take this suggestion to heart. I know many other guardians agree with my sentiments.

I noticed this long before the 2.0 patch with my Thorn specifically, in PvE. I would have about 90 shots in reserve and while I wasn't the most diligent ammo picker-upper, I often found myself down to 20-30 in reserve heading into boss fights. Even some raids (specifically the hall way with all the thralls and the exotic chest at the end in Crota's End) I would run out of ammo with pulse rifles, as they shoot 3 bullets, but it only took 2 bullets to kill small things like thralls, and the 3rd bullet would just hit their already dead body instead of hitting something behind them. I agree there is an issue with ammo reserves, but the ammo crates do help quite a bit.
