We are really struggling to get Oryx to flinch. Any tips? I am using Nighthawk super on him and other snipe but it just seems he never flinches.

Don't use nighthawk super. Weapons of light makes things so easy

Weapons of Light is horrid for Oryx. That bubble gets in the way or detracts from your time no matter where it's placed. The best way to stagger Oryx is to have high impact snipers and at least one Nighthawk Golden Gun at 290+ Light. Once the bomb phase comes up, the two remaining players in the aura are to keep shooting Oryx and wait for the bombs to be detonated. Once detonated, everyone returns to the aura and continues to shoot Oryx. If done correctly, your team would have dropped Oryx's health down by 30% at the most.

Please don't say weapons of light is horrid. Anyone who reads your message may believe you and that is just wrong advice. WoL helps a lot. As long as it's placed in the middle. You are solid. Nighthawk golden gun super definitely helps! I'll give u that. Not needed for sure tho.

You're basically saying [i]"Use a bubble that might get in your way or cause you to lose DPS because you're too concerned with trying to get to it and then the Aura bubble."[/i] Why? Nighthawk Golden Gun will deal 18k+ damage to Oryx.

Also, if you guys are using snipers, everyone put in a full mag, but instead of reloading, since snipers only have 3-5 shots, just switch to a primary scout rifle, as soon as ur empty and keep dpsing.

If your team is using machine guns try and move closer to him before he opens his chest (although be careful not to get too close to detonate the black orb early). Machine guns have a terrible range so if you're team is in the center of the map and he won't flinch you're most likely too far away.

Snipers and Golden Guns work best, you'll know you have enough when you see the black circle in his chest, once thats exposed one bullet will stagger him. You need to keep a steady DPS on him after he's staggered so the blights damage him, if you don't DPS after stagger and that black circle goes away the blights will explode and he won't take damage.

We were able to do it with 1x super Golden Gun Nighthawk and 5x autorifle/sniper rifle. Even if we have lost 1 player, we were able to do it. I think its more about instant dmg (no immune misses)

Everyone needs to have heavy machine guns. Weapons of light helps, coz even if you're one person down, he still flinches.

My team all had heavy machines guns worked a treat. You just need high dps

Weapons of light makes it trivial. I highly recommend having one by you whenever you have to flinch him

my team didn't have it, but we had a guy with touch of malice, someone with the raid sniper so extra damage to oryx, and a light lvl 303 to match oryx.

Perhaps your not using a high impact sniper?

It is decent. The vanguard one at 300 level.
