Everyone buys a car that you get to race and compete with. A new car is released that goes faster, so the track manager builds a new track for the the people that couldn't get the new car for whatever reason. Maybe the slower track isnt as nice as the old one, but the track manager wanted to make sure that he could still afford to accomodate to the people who spent money on new cars so they would be encouraged to buy a new car again in the future. Its a business, and businesses have to make money. But then the people with old cars complain they can't race with the faster cars and demand that their old cars be made faster for free. Sound familiar?
