Would anyone still do the older raids?
I'm just wondering if anyone still bothers doing VoG or Croata's End? I'd understand if the majority opinion was "no" since most of the gear probably doesn't do much for anybody that's at endgame now, but I'd think it'd be fun to try and breeze through them at lvl 40.
EDIT: Glad to see the response is mostly in favour of still doing them. Lot of people, like myself included, are still hungry to try and find the last few pieces of gear for their collections. Hopefully this gets a lot people interested, since each raid can only be looted once per week, and I'd be bored as shit myself constantly waiting on King's Fall if I complete it early on.
Edit 2: Forgot to throw this in, but my gamertag is the same as my name for people looking to hook up on 360.

Nope, already got all their weapons and armor in my vault. Maybe if they made both exotic chest and ir yut give away new exotics but other than that there is no point in my opinion

I don't know why they couldn't just bump the levels up and offer a chance at year 2 exotics. All these newer players have never seen these other raids, and they really don't have any reason to outside of curiosity. Kind of a missed opportunity here

1 ReplyThe gear may no longer be any good BUT the shards can be turned into motes and glimmer and the gear into weapon parts and armor materials. Raids are the best farming method for any of these now

Well, you get Eris Morn rep for doing Crota, and the materials you gather can be converted to motes of light which garner either faction rep or direct XP. So they are still relevant - and fun too.

Play Old Raid -> get materials -> convert them to Mote of Light from speaker.
